Penatalaksanaan Malunion pada Fraktur Tulang Hyoid

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Fraktur tulang hyoid sangat jarang terjadi dan biasanya dikaitkan dengan trauma lain seperti fraktur mandibular, vertebra cervical atau bersamaan dengan laserasi jaringan lunak. Hal ini merupakan akibat dari trauma langsung atau hiperekstensi leher. Malunion merupakan salah satu komplikasi dari fraktur tulang hyoid, yang terjadi saat proses penyembuhan tulang dengan deformitas dan gangguan fungsi. Diagnosis dapat dikonfirmasi dengan pemeriksaan tomografi komputer dan laringoskopi. Penatalaksanaan dilakukan berdasarkan jenis cedera, gejala, dan komplikasi potensial yang terkait. Laporan Kasus: Seorang laki-laki berusia 24 tahun dengan keluhan rasa mengganjal di tenggorok sejak 5 tahun yang lalu dan semakin memberat sejak 4 bulan terakhir. Pada pemeriksaan tomografi komputer regio colli, didapatkan kesan asimetris/ dislokasi tulang hyoid (sisi kiri) dengan gambaran garis/ fissure. Pada pasien dilakukan closing wedge osteotomy dan open reduction internal fixation (ORIF) tulang hyoid dengan miniplate dan screw. Kesimpulan: Pemilihan teknik closing wedge osteotomy dan ORIF menggunakan miniplate dan screw memberikan hasil yang memuaskan dalam penyembuhan dan fiksasi optimal pada penatalaksanaan malunion dari fraktur tulang hyoid.
